Terms of Service

Using the service

You must provide accurate account information, protect your account and secret links, and use PresenterSync only for lawful purposes. If you use PresenterSync for an organization or event, you confirm that you are authorized to do so and are responsible for the people to whom you distribute role or audience links.

Your content

You retain ownership of scripts, cues, images, responses, and other content you provide. You grant PresenterSync a limited permission to host, process, transmit, display, back up, and delete that content only as needed to run, secure, and support the service. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed for your content and for any personal data you ask participants to submit.

Acceptable use

You must not use PresenterSync to:

• break the law, infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights, or facilitate fraud or abuse;
• upload malware, attempt unauthorized access, probe security, disrupt the service, or evade rate limits;
• share a role link with someone who should not have its permissions;
• use the service for safety-critical, emergency, medical, or other activity where failure could cause serious harm; or
• collect information from participants without providing any notice or consent required for your event.

Live-event responsibility

PresenterSync is a production aid, not a guarantee that an event will run without interruption. Rehearse on the intended devices and network, keep suitable power and connectivity, and maintain a backup script and timing method. You remain responsible for event decisions, participant instructions, and downloaded or exported files.

Beta availability

During beta, features may change and the service may be interrupted for maintenance, defects, capacity limits, provider outages, or security reasons. We do not currently promise a service-level agreement. We will take reasonable care in operating the service but cannot promise that it will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.

Accounts, suspension, and termination

You may stop using PresenterSync and use the account deletion process at any time. We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users or the service, investigate misuse, comply with law, or address a material breach of these terms. Where appropriate, we will give notice and a reasonable opportunity to correct the issue. Sections that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, responsibility, disclaimers, and dispute provisions—continue to apply.

Paid services

Paddle acts as the authorized reseller and merchant of record for paid purchases. The checkout and purchase confirmation state the final price, applicable tax, renewal schedule, seller, and Paddle terms for the transaction. Annual subscriptions renew yearly until cancelled; 30-day Event Passes are one-time purchases and do not renew. Manage an existing subscription, payment method, receipts, or cancellation through Paddle's hosted customer portal. Deleting a PresenterSync account does not by itself cancel a Paddle subscription. Liability and mandatory rights

Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, PresenterSync is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, lost event revenue, lost opportunities, or loss resulting from an exposed secret link, third-party service failure, or failure to maintain reasonable event backups.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms as the service changes and will publish a new effective date. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate. These terms are governed by Singapore law, subject to any mandatory protections that apply where you live. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern directly.
